100 degrees in November and Soup?

we went to the pool and swam the same day i made my curry butternut squash soup..

what is wrong with swimming in 100 degree weather all the while butternut squash is in season?

 ps- i can't get her to look at me while taking a picture AT ALL.
she looks away and says with the least amount of energy humanly possible..
