when a wedding is done, it is bittersweet, i feel happy to give the images, happy when i get a response of gratitude and i love that i am providing something that couples will seriously have forever!! i mean, wedding photos are FOREVER, one of the only things that you really have forever from your special day.. {well, besides love, affection and an amazing best friend}

i have been working hard on the little touches.. your sweet package you get to hold in your hands of that amazing story..

San Diego Exquisite Weddings Magazine

 So i shot my first editorial and it was for the awesome magazine San Diego Exquisite Weddings.. It is so surreal.. To see my work in a glossy hand held magazine is SO crazy cool! The fact they asked ME to shoot, pick the model AND location.. It is pretty nuts! This photog gig just keeps getting better and better!! It really is amazing what you can accomplish if you just go for it.. Don't be afraid of rejection and do what you get most excited about! What makes you tick.. You won't be disappointed.

2014 is already off and running..

i had a sneaking feeling this was going to be a good year.. i am just feeling it.. positive, blessed, greatful and sort of just.. calm..

it's good. real. good.

 i have some great projects on the horizon, a couple tweaks coming to my branding and some fabulous brides i am ready to rock and roll with!! 

today.. i shot an editorial for san diego exquisite weddings magazine..

i of course can not share any detailed photos but on the ol' social media train.... there were some fun sneak peeks of me in action.. stay tuned guys.

thankful in san diego..

i have been enjoying the fall.. tremendously.. it is by far my favorite part of this year so far.. it is so crisp, dazzling and bright.. the ocean appears to have glitter sprinkled in it, the sky is SO blue.. 

i am so blessed to live here.. i am filled above my eyeballs with gratitude.. for so much.

i am loving everyone expressing thanks this month, it being thanksgiving, people make a point to look at the positive and wonderful things in their lives, people seem to have a skip in their step.. is that why? because we are focusing on the wonderful things?

 the 30 days of thanks game is all over the social media airwaves and i love it.

it is just so nice to hear everyone so happy.

this is why i love a private first look.. this kind of moment is what it is about.. just the two of you, seeing each other for the first time.. quietly, it's almost like you freeze time.. a magical time.. it is just about you two.. it is one of my favorite moments to shoot..

we have been getting into the christmas spirit..

this is hubbys favorite ornament from when he was a wee one.. we all love it..

 i love taking photos of the christmas tree.. i love creating these bubbles with the lights.. just looks so dreamy..

our little girls are SO fun right now.. they are so dramatic and a bit of work {ahh-hemm}..

  but i can just stare at them in amazement for hours.. they are so precious and they are my heart.

 here is a tip.. hang some mistletoe in your doorway.. it will create a lot of giggles.. guaranteed.

 i finished up my last wedding of 2012.. here is a teaser pic..

it was is san francisco and it was so magical.. i will share it with you soon.. it rained for days and cleared for just a couple hours to get some amazing pictures.. these two are so in love and so special.

 i am obsessed with the website the glow... i know you have heard me talk about it before, the photography is so amazing and all the uber stylish working moms that fill the pages make me so happy.. i just have such love and respect for moms who love what they do, juggle the house and still make themselves a priority.. and let's talk about this wallpaper?? {so amazing right?}

this is basically my everyday.. i sit with my coffee..at my desk.. listening to tunes while i edit, surf and sing.. these coffee cups are a great gift and one of my go to's.. they are from anthropologie and i love to gift them in sets of 4 or 6 with the families last name initial..
